Championing frontend web architecture, the full-time Senior Frontend Software Engineer will lead the development of core Search features using React, TypeScript, and Node, while optimizing high-traffic search experiences in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Lead the architectural evolution and frontend execution for core Search features across a React, TypeScript, and Node web stack Partner with product, design, and backend engineering teams to translate user research and design mocks into performant user experiences Build complex map-based data visualizations and optimize client-side performance for data-heavy web applications Required qualifications Mastery of modern frontend web technologies, application design patterns, and user interface development using React and TypeScript Experience building map-based data visualizations using mapping libraries such as Mapbox or Google Maps API Fullstack working context with Node.js web services and modern API design concepts like REST or GraphQL Practical understanding of backend microservice interaction patterns and relational databases like PostgreSQL Familiarity with AWS managed services or frontend performance optimization for high-traffic applications is a plus
