Analyzing and interpreting carrier freight contracts, the full-time Senior Freight Analyst will audit invoice payments, investigate compliance issues, and communicate with clients and carriers while working remotely. Key responsibilities Audit carrier freight bills and investigate potential errors and duplicate billing Research and identify invoices not in compliance with contractual pricing and service agreements Assist in the development of audit plans and provide training for less experienced analysts Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience Minimum of three years' experience in transportation systems and freight audit/payment Knowledge of shipping modes, tariffs, and applicable rates/pricing High level of analytical skills for evaluating carrier requests and operational systems Advanced computer skills in Excel and Access
