Most firmware engineers write code for boards that never leave the bench. This isn't th
at.
You'll be building the real-time embedded software that lets an autonomous defense system sense, decide, and act, software that has to survive field conditions, hardware constraints, and military-grade reliability requirements, not just pass a unit t
est.
You won't be handed a spec and a black-boxed board. You'll be reading datasheets, drawing the schematics yourself, and owning the system from silicon to control loop, on a small team where your design decisions
ship.
If you want to work on hard, real-world autonomy problems with a team that's already proven it can build and exit companies, this is that kind of
role.
