GRN Boston South is hiring a full-time Senior Fire Protection Engineer based in Framingham, MA (hybrid) for a seller-doer role combining fire protection consulting with regional business development.
Pay and schedule
- $175,000 to $215,000 per year, full time
- Hybrid, with travel to client sites
Duties
- Lead regional business development (about 40% of the role)
- Design and oversee sprinkler, fire alarm, smoke control, and special hazard suppression systems
- Perform hydraulic and fire modeling and NFPA and ICC code consulting
- Support construction administration and mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience, 10+ strongly preferred
- Expertise in fire protection system design and NFPA codes
- Proven client relationship skills and an industry network
- Lift up to 50 lbs and reliable transportation
- PE license strongly preferred; AutoSprink, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or Revit a plus
