Senior Financial Counselor

To support patients who may be uninsured or under-insured, the full-time remote Senior Financial Counselor will develop financial plans, conduct patient interviews to gather demographic and financial information, and facilitate referrals to funding resources. Key responsibilities Conducts personal interviews with patients to obtain necessary demographic and financial information Verifies insurance coverage and educates patients on funding program applications Follows up on pending applications to ensure proper account disposition Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience Intermediate knowledge of insurance regulations and policies Experience in conducting patient interviews and financial assessments Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
