Job Description
nAn employer in the Los Angeles, CA area is seeking a Remote Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, operational analysis, budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and purchasing activities for a large imaging department of approximately 600 employees. This individual will serve as a key financial partner to leadership, providing actionable insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
nKey Responsibilities:
n-Analyze monthly financial performance, budget variances, and expense trends.
n-Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
n-Partner with department leaders on staffing, expense, and operational planning.
n-Perform financial and operational analysis related to patient volumes, reimbursement, revenue, expenses, and profitability.
n-Analyze imaging procedure trends, utilization, and growth opportunities.
n-Develop capital equipment business cases, ROI models, and break-even analyses.
n-Track labor metrics including salaries, overtime, and productivity measures.
n-Create recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership.
n-Build and maintain advanced Excel models, pivot tables, and reporting tools.
n-Support purchasing, requisitions, purchase orders, and accounts payable activities.
n-Research billing discrepancies, cost variances, and payment issues.
n-Present financial data and recommendations to clinical and operational stakeholders.

nSkills and Requirements
n-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
n-5+ years of financial analysis experience.
n-Healthcare or hospital finance experience.
n-Advanced Excel skills, including:
n-Pivot tables
n-Complex formulas
n-Large dataset analysis
n-Financial modeling
n-Linked workbooks
n-Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
n-Strong financial and operational reporting experience.
n-Ability to analyze data independently and provide actionable recommendations.
n-Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. -Experience with Oracle, Tableau, BusinessObjects, Epic, Axiom
n-Chargemaster experience
