Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. You will be responsible for the month-end close process, preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of consolidated financial statements. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Description:

• Prepare and review profit and loss statements, as well as key performance indicators (KPIs), for month-end reporting.
  
• Conduct monthly variance analysis, comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts for Upstream RNG projects.
  
• Ensure accurate capture and reporting of project costs.
  
• Utilize strong analytical skills to identify the root causes of variances.
  
• Assist in budget and forecast development (monthly/quarterly, mid-year, and annual).
  
• Ensure compliance with corporate and industry financial reporting guidelines.
  
• Analyze monthly spending for joint venture entities and communicate trends to senior management.
  
• Collaborate with department heads to manage spending and support new corporate initiatives.
  

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
• 2+ years of related experience and/or training.
  
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
