Senior Financial Analyst - Inventory Control

Senior Financial AnalystThis role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You'll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.About the RoleAs Senior Financial Analyst, you will improve company profitability by leading value-added analysis, driving cross-functional collaboration and building business partnerships.What You'll DoIdentify, analyze and communicate shortage trends to department and field leadershipSupport Logistics Inventory Control in review of purchase order verifications, warehouse transfers and proper processing of callback debit and mark out of stockSupport physical inventory reconciliation by reviewing exception reporting and other administrative tasksUtilize query tools such as EDW, Tableau and AQT for ad hoc reporting and analysisCommunicate any identified issues to the appropriate stakeholders for resolutionAggregate and summarize data using technical tools, accounting principles and relevant business knowledgeIdentify and communicate trends, variances and their underlying driversEnsure data integrity before presentation of findings and compile relevant findings for presentationSystematically identify appropriate variables, relevant assumptions and key performance metricsDevelop sensitivity analysis, rate versus mix or correlation analysisDrive and improve the weekly and monthly forecast processDrive annual budgeting and updating of long-range plansDevelop new complex reporting, peer review and report summariesReview contracts and ensure the correct accountingDetermine capital versus expensePerform monthly and quarterly SOX validations to ensure controls are operating effectivelyAdditional tasks may be assignedWhat Skills You HaveRequired:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant fieldAdvanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other Financial Software programsExcellent accounting, budgeting and forecasting skillsStrong critical thinking, attention to detail, time management and communication skillsAdept multitaskerPreferred:3+ years of experience in Accounting or FinanceCPA or MBARetail industry experience
