Senior Financial Analyst - Indianapolis Operations

And by harnessing Danaher's system of continuous improvement, you help turn ideas into impact – innovating at the speed of life.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Act as the primary finance partner with ownership of value stream level P&Ls, including volume, expense, and headcount forecasting, while supporting operations decision-making.Drive monthly/quarterly forecasts, including risks & opportunities and actionable insights for decision-making.Provide daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting and maintain Power BI dashboards to enable visibility into key financial and operational metricsSupport item costing, standard cost updates, and analysis of manufacturing cost drivers to improve efficiency and profitability.Contribute to month-end close activities (journal entries, variance analysis, reconciliations) and drive improvements in forecasting, reporting, and financial processesThe essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years experience OR Master's degree in field with 3+ years experience OR doctoral degree in field with 0-2 years experienceRelevant FP&A experience with a strong understanding of financial statements, P&L drivers, and forecastingAdvanced Excel skills and experience with data/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI); ability to translate data into actionable insights.Experience with ERP or enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion) and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively to operational stakeholdersExperience with cross functional business partneringIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:MBA, CPA, or CMAExperience supporting manufacturing or operations environments.Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
