The successful candidate will partner closely with business units to build and manage budgets, drive financial performance, and deliver actionable insights. This role requires a proactive mindset, attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments at all levels, including senior leadership. This position is based in Austin, TX, and has a hybrid work schedule.

This role reports to the Director of FP&A.RESPONSIBILITIES:Partner with business units to build, manage, and track budgets aligned with strategic goalsDevelop and maintain financial models to evaluate departmental performance, investment opportunities, and risksProactively identify process improvements and data-driven opportunities that strengthen financial reporting and analysisPrepare and present financial reports, surfacing key insights and recommendations for both financial and non-financial stakeholdersAnalyze variances between actual and forecasted performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvementSupport the preparation of annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and long-range strategic planningProvide senior leadership with financial insights that drive informed decision-makingBuild trusted relationships and collaborate with cross-departmental leaders and team membersKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field4–6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role, with a focus on budgeting and business partneringProficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecastingAdvanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel; hands-on experience with a financial planning tool (e.g., Anaplan, Planful) and an ERP (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)Curiosity and hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) applied to real finance workflowsWorking knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and corporate finance principlesExceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendationsStrong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamComfort navigating disparate, imperfect data to uncover insightsOUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY:At FloSports, we are bonded by our passion for sports and our purpose to unite communities around experiences that finally give underserved sports the love they deserve.
