Senior Financial Analyst (CONTRACT)

Senior Financial AnalystThe Senior Financial Analyst will be key Business Partner to various stakeholders within the company responsible for preparing financial analyses, maintaining current financial reports, and providing context and insight around the data. Develop methodologies to determine the effectiveness of initiatives on Retail Stores and Expenses with a focus on G&A Expenses. Analyze and report on historical, current and future trends in performance.

Prepare reports for executive review.Job ResponsibilitiesBusiness partner to Retail, Construction, and G&A teams Expense control, reporting, and analysisFinancial guidance with focus on Investment Optimization and maximizing ROIs of Retail StoresIdentify Risks and Opportunities within the business and provide Actionable analysisMonitor and control monthly Retail KPIs in collaboration with COO and Retail Directors: Provide Retail stores with monthly sales targets in accordance with budgetsCalculate monthly and quarterly sales bonus for Retail store teamsCommunicate Labor hours budget and ensure productivity optimization in storesCAPEX Spend Tracking and Reporting Develop and maintain trackers of CAPEX with a view on Spend vs. ROI and BUDParticipate in monthly accounting close process: Liaise with Accounting and provide accruals of incurred expenses not yet invoiced per Accounting rulesReview monthly and YTD P&Ls and address variances to Budget/Forecast and LY with an extensive GL research for accuracyGenerate reporting and hold month end meetings with key stakeholders to review results and address variancesFinancial Controls for Purchase Requisition process: Approve Purchase Requisitions for relevant departments and thresholds and ensure accuracy vs. Budget/ForecastProvide guidance on Expense coding and amount allocation as it relates to Accounting RulesGenerate Reporting and partner with stakeholders to address areas of risk and opportunitiesAssist in the annual P&L Budget and quarterly Forecast Preparation/DevelopmentCreate and distribute weekly and monthly reports to various levels of managementAnalyzing business results for key takeaways to help achieve business objectives, build consensus across various teams to expedite cost control initiatives and build understandingGo to for Reporting and Analysis development on Financial Reporting tool TM1Manage and deliver all ad hoc analysisWork effectively in a team environmentAll other duties or projects as assignedKey Performance Indicators: Key contributor to Top-line and Bottom-line company resultsRequirements: Education BS in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field Experience 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis and modeling SkillsRetail/Wholesale experienceProficient in Excel, Power Point, Power BI and Other MS applicationsSAP or other comparable ERP system exposureAll Applicants:L'Occitane's Privacy StatementUnited States Applicants Only:Employee RightsFMLA: PostersFMLA Special Rules for Returning Military Members (USERSA)
