Serving as a subject matter expert and mentor, the full-time Senior Financial Aid Advisor will manage complex student portfolios, ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, and provide expert counseling to drive students' financial success in a virtual environment. Key responsibilities: Assist in training new Financial Aid Advisors and mentor team members on processes Guide students through the financial aid process and create compliant financial plans Review and verify student files, ensuring timely aid disbursement and accurate documentation Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or Associate's Degree with 5 years of related experience, or 7+ years of experience in federal and student financial aid Experience in financial aid or accounting is required Proficiency in MS Office and exposure to financial aid software (Campus Vue/Campus Nexus preferred) Willingness to work on the Saturday prior to each start (once every 5 weeks) Reliable internet connection is necessary for remote work
