Senior Field Service RepresentativeSRCTec, LLC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Field Service Representative to become one of two OEM representatives supporting local units at Fort Bragg, NC. SRCTec designs, manufactures, and supports advanced radar and sensor systems for a global commercial and defense customer base. The Senior Field Support Representative will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for sustainment-related technical matters, leading pre- and post-sales technical support through expert product demonstrations, advanced training, field support, and remote assistance. The candidate will primarily integrate with assigned units providing technical and training support in garrison and deployed CONUS and OCONUS locations (excluding danger zones). This role also involves mentoring junior FSRs, influencing product design for supportability, developing comprehensive technical content to maximize customer success, and providing on-site consultation oversight and integration support for hardware, software, network configurations, and new system initiatives.

This position is funded through December 2026. Continued employment beyond that date is contingent upon the annual renewal or re-award of the current contract.What You'll DoLead field training and service support at customer locations, both domestically and internationally, resolving complex sustainment challengesPartner closely with customers and end users to define requirements, document expectations, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance product usabilityExcel in a collaborative, customer-focused engineering culture, mentoring junior representatives and driving value for clientsAddress critical customer operational needs with rapid response, including last-minute travel to potentially austere field sitesLead advanced troubleshooting, system/sub-system analysis, and component-level diagnosticsProvide authoritative technical guidance to engineering, quality, configuration management, and subcontract teams to optimize product sustainment, including guidance on handling, installation, and utilization of various systems and equipmentDevelop comprehensive test plans, technical performance assessments, and actionable after-action reports to enhance system performance and customer satisfactionTrain and mentor junior Field Support Representatives, serving as a lead instructor for operator and maintenance training courses, including coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level technical staffAnalyze interrelations of logistics activities to propose solutions that improve product sustainment and usabilityProvide on-site consultation oversight and integration support for existing hardware, software, network configurations, and new system initiatives for all sites within area of responsibilityAdvise on technical requirements for products and services, support equipment, and electronic equipment installationsAssist in the development and ensure adherence to area-wide procedural/policy changesWork independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables, including responsibility for entire projects or processes within a technical areaDevelop technical solutions to unclear problems and issues that require deep technical knowledge, collaboration with internal experts, and understanding of impact on end-product/solutionWhat You'll BringAssociate's degree, vocational certification, or military experience in an engineering-relevant field with 7+ years of engineering-related experience, or Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field with 5+ years of work experience (equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered, such as expertise with radar, RF-based, communication, or navigation systems)Deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain, with broad understanding of other related specialty areasExpert proficiency with test equipment such as multimeters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes to diagnose complex electrical and electronic issuesAdvanced ability to interpret electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, test/assembly instructions, specifications, and engineering documentation with precisionExpert ability to synthesize technical product knowledge and customer field experience to assist/lead the development of technical manuals and training material contentSuperior written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service, including communicating with internal and client project team members to influence solution design, process, and approachesHighly self-motivated with exceptional time management and leadership skills to manage complex projects independentlyProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and interact with higher-level engineering leaders, PMs, and customers with minimal supervisionExtensive experience delivering technical training and certification as a lead instructor for operator and maintenance training coursesMastery of technical expertise within the Field Support track and full understanding of U.S. government and company standards related to logistics and sustainmentMeet physical occupational requirements including the ability to lift, move, and walk with a minimum of 50 pounds, climb towers, and tolerate long flights and periodic long workdays, and ability to obtain tower climbing certification, with or without reasonable accommodationsExpert computer skills, including MS Office suite, and a firm understanding of TCP/IP networkingWillingness to travel up to 75% (domestic and international), including potential extended assignments at military or customer locations in austere Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $85,000 to $104,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
