X4 Engineering has teamed up with a leading U.S. Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) company to hire a Field Evaluations Engineer to support projects for the west coast. In this role, you’ll perform on-site labeling, certification testing, and compliance evaluations for industrial machinery and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field labeling and certification testing in line with applicable domestic regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Provide clear feedback to customers regarding any compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Design and implement test strategies to assess compliance, functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Manage assigned client projects by selecting suitable testing methods and equipment while ensuring the correct application of standards.
Key Requirements
- Familiarity with standards such as NFPA 79, UL 508A, IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-1, UL 2011, EN 60204-1, EN ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA R15.06, and UL 1740 is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external clients.
- Knowledge of NEC, CEC, and relevant local/provincial electrical codes.
Note: This role requires frequent travel, approximately 80% across Western States.
