A leading facilities management organization is hiring a Senior Facilities Manager to oversee facilities operations across a 2.5 million square foot manufacturing campus in Mobile, Alabama. This is a high-impact leadership position responsible for managing a large technical workforce, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the seamless delivery of both hard and soft facilities services across a critical production environment.

The Role

As the Senior Facilities Manager, you'll:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20+ employees, including technicians and administrative professionals.
• Oversee all facilities operations across a 2.5 million square foot industrial manufacturing facility.
• Provide leadership across both hard and soft services, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery.
• Manage and develop technical teams responsible for MEP, HVAC, electrical, and building infrastructure systems.
• Act as the primary operational lead for facilities, working closely with key client stakeholders and site leadership.
• Manage third-party contractors, vendors, and specialist service providers to ensure high standards of performance.
• Develop, manage, and report on operating budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, safety, and cost control.
• Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver strategic leadership while maintaining a strong focus on employee engagement, performance, and succession planning.

You

To be successful in the role of Senior Facilities Manager, you'll bring:

• 5+ years of senior-level Facilities Management leadership experience.
• A strong technical background within MEP, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or related building systems.
• Experience managing large technical teams within industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similarly complex environments.
• Proven experience leading facilities operations across large, multi-building, or mission-critical sites.
• Strong knowledge of both hard and soft FM services.
• Experience managing budgets, contractors, vendors, and capital projects.
• A hands-off leadership approach with a passion for developing and motivating teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Strong financial, operational, and analytical capabilities.
