With revenue of more than $11 billion in FY25, ADI ensures today's innovators stay Ahead of What's Possible.The Senior Engineer, Facilities Engineering (Electrical) is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous operation of site electrical infrastructure. This role serves as the technical authority for power systems and leads the design, maintenance, and optimization of critical electrical systems supporting advanced manufacturing and facility operations.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Systems LeadershipServe as the subject matter expert for electrical infrastructure, including low- and medium-voltage (LV/MV) distribution, lighting, generators, and UPS systems.Establish, maintain, and continuously improve electrical engineering standards and site-wide reliability programs.Critical Infrastructure ManagementDesign, maintain, and optimize mission-critical systems (UPS, generators, distribution networks) with a strong focus on uptime, redundancy, and operational continuity.Support 24/7 sustaining operations, including on-call coverage for critical system issues.Reliability & Maintenance ProgramsDevelop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to enhance system performance and minimize downtime.Drive energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability improvements across electrical systems.Project ExecutionLead or support electrical scopes of work for capital projects of varying complexity, including advanced manufacturing environments, cleanrooms, and high-tech facilities.Review and approve contractor deliverables, submittals, RFIs, and ensure quality execution in the field.Engineering Design & AnalysisPrepare and review electrical design documentation, including:Single-line diagramsLoad calculationsPanel schedulesLighting layoutsShort-circuit, coordination, and arc flash studiesEnsure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with architectural, mechanical, and structural teams to deliver integrated, code-compliant facility designs.Collaborate with field electricians and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.Technical Skills & ExpertiseStrong knowledge of building electrical systems design and operations, including LV/MV distribution, lighting, and emergency power systemsExperience with power system analysis tools (e.g., EasyPower) for short-circuit, coordination, and load flow studiesDeep understanding of applicable codes and standards, including NFPA 70/70E, IEEE, IEC, and local regulationsExperience supporting construction administration, including submittal review, RFIs, and field inspectionsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required); advanced degree preferredProfessional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred5+ years of experience in facilities or infrastructure electrical engineeringProven track record of managing complex projects and supporting critical operationsAnalog Devices is an equal opportunity employer. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors. This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
