Pay Rate: $73/hr WITHOUT CPA/$109/hr WITH CPA
This role is ideal for an experienced external auditor with investment management experience who can independently own audit areas, lead client interactions, and execute complex engagements. You'll support clients including hedge funds, private equity funds, mutual funds, venture capital funds, and real estate investment funds
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of external audit experience
- Experience auditing Asset & Wealth Management / Investment Management clients , including hedge funds, private equity, mutual funds, venture capital, or real estate investment funds
- Experience leading audit planning and execution
- Hands-on valuation testing experience
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 820 Fair Value Measurement, and Investment Company Accounting
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Experience with audit/data analytics tools such as Aura, CaseWare, Alteryx, DataSnipper, Power BI, or IDEA
- Ability to discuss how technology, automation, or AI-enabled tools have improved audit execution and efficiency
Nice to Have
- Big 4 experience: PwC, EY, Deloitte, or KPMG
- CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification
- Experience with large, complex investment management engagements
