Location: Remote (Preferred: Atlanta, GA)

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced ETL/Ab Initio Developer with a strong background in data warehousing and the banking domain. The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of hands-on experience in ETL using Ab Initio, AWS-S3, and Metaprogramming PDL, coupled with technical leadership abilities. This is a remote role, with preference given to candidates in the Atlanta, GA area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end ETL solutions using Ab Initio, including design, development, and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain generic ETL frameworks using Metaprogramming and PDL.
  • Handle data ingestion and transformation for DWH.
  • Work with AWS S3 and Redshift (plus).
  • Develop reusable components and participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with QA for test planning, test case execution, defect logging, and retesting.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
  • Work with Hadoop ecosystem components such as Hive for data processing.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL / Ab Initio development.
  • Experience with Metaprogramming PDL and generic frameworks.
  • Proficiency in AWS S3.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and development lifecycle.
