Senior Estimator - Plumbing Division

Our client is a nationally recognized mechanical, electrical, and HVAC contractor experiencing exceptional growth and on track to surpass $1 billion in annual revenue . As they continue expanding their capabilities, they are seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Estimator to establish and lead their growing Plumbing Estimating division in Charlotte. This is a unique opportunity to become the first hire in the division, providing unlimited long-term career growth with the ability to help build and shape the department from the ground up. Backed by an established client base and a strong pipeline of awarded and negotiated work, this role is focused entirely on estimating and operational growth, no business development is required .

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate plumbing estimates for commercial construction projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to define project scope
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Collaborate with preconstruction and operations teams throughout the bidding process
• Support value engineering and budget development
• Help establish estimating processes as the Plumbing division grows

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial plumbing estimating experience
• Experience with projects such as multifamily, healthcare, office, or mixed-use developments preferred
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, estimating, and construction practices
• Proficiency with estimating software and construction technology
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Leadership mindset with the desire to help build a growing division
