We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to estimate industrial and commercial electrical, controls, and construction projects and develop accurate customer proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical project cost estimates and proposals.
- Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Conduct site visits and assess project scope and conditions.
- Estimate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Identify project risks and potential cost impacts.
- Obtain and negotiate competitive supplier/subcontractor pricing.
- Use estimating software and support project cost control.
- Collaborate with construction and project management teams.
Requirements:
- Strong commercial/industrial electrical estimating experience.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proficiency reading blueprints and specifications.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with NEC/contract documents.
