We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a growing preconstruction team. This individual will play a key role in developing accurate, competitive estimates for complex industrial projects while working closely with our operations, preconstruction, and project leadership teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead estimates for ground-up and expansion projects across industrial, manufacturing, distribution, and advanced manufacturing
- Manage projects from conceptual budgeting through GMP and final bid
- Develop detailed quantity takeoffs, subcontractor scopes, bid packages, and cost analyses
- Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals
- Identify value engineering opportunities, constructability concerns, and potential project risks
- Work closely with owners, design teams, trade partners, and internal project teams throughout preconstruction
- Support project handoff from preconstruction into operations
Qualifications
- 7+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience within the construction industry
- Experience estimating large-scale industrial or technically complex construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction costs, means and methods, and subcontractor markets
- Ability to independently manage estimates and multiple active pursuits
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with industry-standard estimating, takeoff, and bid management software
