We are #hiring a Senior Estimator for upcoming projects in North Carolina.
Requirements include:
- Prepares detailed material and equipment takeoffs to support accurate cost estimates, budgets, and purchase orders, including correct cost coding and tax calculations
- Reviews drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure estimates align with project scope and site-specific requirements
- Develops and contributes to overall project schedules, safety plans, equipment utilization plans, and manpower forecasts during preconstruction
- Tracks budgeted vs. actual costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, and helps forecast project costs monthly
- Communicates with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to gather pricing and scope information for estimates
- Applies quality and safety standards knowledge to ensure estimates reflect realistic execution requirements
- Requires 4-8 years of relevant estimating/field experience, strong drawing interpretation skills, proficiency with Primavera scheduling and COINS cost-forecasting software, Word/Excel skills, and a valid driver's license
