Senior Environmental EngineerThe Senior Environmental Engineer position serves as a Project Manager for environmental projects related to engineering, water quality, stormwater management, and/or groundwater and soil assessment and remediation. The qualified applicant will be able to work within a team environment and be capable of managing others to complete tasks or projects. Prior experience with petroleum site assessment and remediation is desired.The compensation range for this role is $110,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience and skills.

This position is located in Tampa, FL.To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:Works effectively, both independently and in a team settingConducts field work at client sites to collect groundwater and soil dataLeads data collection efforts and research of projects as requested by project managersPrepares environmental compliance documents, permits, plans, and proceduresKnowledgeable of regulatory standards in environmental technical areasInteracts with customers and clientsMaintains confidentiality at all timesExercises safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programsParticipates in the company's continuous improvement programs and provides support to team effortsKeeps up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshopsExperience supporting business development activities, including proposal preparation, client acquisition, and expansion of services with existing clients.Performs other duties as assignedThese requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here:Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering (preferably civil, environmental, or chemical) or related technical field from an accredited four-year college or universityPossesses a Professional Engineer (PE) licenseStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure with multiple deadlinesOrganizational skills and attention to detailWorking knowledge of business software (Microsoft Office, Outlook)8+ years of environmental engineering experience with industrial, municipal, state, and federal clientele.Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Petroleum Restoration Program experience preferred.OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER preferredTravel up to 5% of the time
