- Drive technical direction for the Universal Integration Platform and align engineering with business goals
- Set technical direction for major initiatives and define coding standards, best practices, and technical guidelines
- Influence technology and tooling choices across teams
- Personally tackle the most complex engineering challenges
- Design and deliver abstraction layers bridging cloud and on-premises environments
- Champion AI-assisted development practices and establish team-wide standards
- Assess platform architecture, coding standards, team practices, deployment models, and integration patterns
- Lead a team of 3–5 engineers and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
- Establish the technical vision and long-term roadmap for the Universal Integration Platform
- Drive organization-wide adoption of AI-assisted development practices and measure their productivity impact
- Deliver complex abstraction frameworks and resolve or guide resolution of high-impact technical challenges
- Mentor engineers and emerging technical leaders
- Report to the Chief Technology Officer
- Travel up to 5%
Requirements
- Expert-level mastery of C# with deep expertise in .NET Core and .NET Framework
- Expertise in async/await patterns, dependency injection, middleware pipelines, and advanced C# language features
- Expert proficiency with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar
- Proven ability to establish AI-assisted development standards, measure productivity gains, and mentor engineers
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex abstraction frameworks
- Extensive AWS experience, including Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway, EventBridge, and CloudFormation/CDK
- Experience designing distributed systems for hybrid environments
- Deep understanding of cloud and on-premises deployments
- Expertise in distributed architecture, microservices, and event-driven design
- Proven success building platforms supporting REST APIs, message queues, event-driven, and batch integration patterns
- Mastery of DevOps and CI/CD, deployment pipelines, infrastructure as code, blue-green deployments, and automated testing
- Experience optimizing distributed systems for stability, throughput, performance, and scalability
- Experience implementing testing and quality assurance frameworks at scale
- Ability to define and execute long-term technical roadmaps
- Experience leading architecture reviews and technical discussions
- Financial services domain awareness, including banking and capital markets compliance and integration constraints
- Ability to mentor engineers and emerging technical leaders
- Ability to travel up to 5%
