Senior Engineering Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.
This role will lead a high-impact engineering organization responsible for core customer-facing and internal platform capabilities. The Senior Engineering Manager will own delivery priorities, guide architectural direction, and partner closely with Product Management to improve communication identity workflows for external customers. This leader will also drive operational excellence, strengthen team performance, and help the organization adopt AI-enabled practices that increase engineering velocity.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $207,200 – $304,600 annually

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery roadmap for the communication identity domain, including customer services and internal APIs
• Drive adoption of AI tools to improve engineering workflows and team velocity
• Ensure operational excellence, including system reliability and incident management
• Collaborate with Product Management to deliver seamless communication identity workflows for external customers
• Coach and develop a world-class engineering team, with emphasis on prioritization, inclusion, and growth
• Balance competing stakeholder priorities while maintaining focus on high-impact work
• Communicate team strategy and progress transparently to leadership and cross-functional partners

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years in engineering management overseeing 10+ engineers
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native distributed systems and architectural reviews
• Deep familiarity with AWS ecosystems, microservices, and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Proven track record of embracing AI tools to enhance team productivity
• Demonstrable experience shipping complex software products with an agile, data-driven approach
• Strong background in building diverse, high-performing engineering teams with a focus on inclusion and growth
• Exceptional communication skills for technical strategy and stakeholder engagement
