Senior Engineering Inspector is the first line supervisory level in the Engineering Inspector series. Incumbents supervise subordinates in performing inspections and contract administration for complex municipal capital improvement projects; reviews plans and specifications for engineering soundness and conformance to established standards; provides consulting and inspection services to contractors, engineers, and property owners on methods of complying with construction standards.The current vacancy exists in the Capital Development Department.
