You'll play a pivotal role in advancing our city's water engineering initiative. Your efforts will be focused on planning of water facilities, water facilities design and construction.Dive into the core of the Water Utility by providing engineering and oversight support on a variety of water infrastructure and planning projects ranging from water treatment facilities to distribution systems, pipelines, wells, and water supply reliability. Your expertise will be used in designing, planning, and implementing projects to enhance and secure the City's potable water supply system.Develop collaborative relationships within cross-functional teams, establishing positive connections with co-workers, consultants, contractors, city employees, vendors, and public agencies. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with major course work in civil, environmental engineering, construction engineering technology or a closely related field. Possession of a valid California driver's license by date of appointment. Possession of a current certificate of registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in California by date of appointment.
