You'll design and develop secure, scalable platforms that enable tokenization, wallet-driven workflows, smart contract functionality, and seamless integration with core enterprise systems—offering the opportunity to work on high-impact engineering at the leading edge of financial innovation.To be successful as a Senior Engineer VP - Digital Assets, you should:Bring proven experience designing and building tokenized deposits, bonds, repos, stablecoins, and related digital asset systems in a regulated financial institutionHave practical expertise across L1s/L2s, smart contracts, cryptographic services, and interoperability frameworksDemonstrate a good understanding of token standards, and on-chain settlement concepts, and apply this knowledge to enterprise Digital Asset design in a regulated environmentBe comfortable owning technical solutions end-to-end, from design and development through testing, deployment, and continuous improvementApply DevSecOps discipline, including CI/CD, secrets management, cloud security, and automated testingBe confident using AI-enabled engineering and productivity tooling to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, enhance decision-making and mitigate technology and operational riskOther highly valued skills include:Knowledge of payments systems, instant payments, cross-border flows, and digital asset-enabled settlementUnderstanding of capital markets workflows, including issuance, trading, DvP/PvP, lifecycle events, and corporate actionsExperience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes/containers, API gateways, Kafka, and enterprise messagingConsiderable grounding in distributed systems patterns, secure engineering, and modern software design principlesAbility to work effectively across engineering, architecture, product, risk, compliance, and operations teamsYou may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.This role is located in our Whippany, NJ office.Minimum Salary: $170,000Maximum Salary: $230,000The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate.
