Hours : Full Time 40 (4 days / 10 hr day)
Duration: Long Term (w/option to go direct after 6 months, if desired)
Mob / Demob : $500 each way ($1,000 total)
Position Details: We are seeking a Mechanical/Civil Engineer to fill the position of Senior Engineer as they support nuclear operations in Richland, WA.
Requirements:
- Civil or Mechanical engineering graduate and 12-15 years of related experience.
- P.E. License.
- Solid proficiency in Risa 3-D, or other FEA structural engineering software.
- Working knowledge of Inventor/AutoCAD, AISC Manual, FEA software, &
- Knowledge of steel design/detailing & fabrication practices.
- Knowledge of the nuclear power industry, associated terminology & paperwork is a plus.
- Knowledge of the crane & rigging field is a plus.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
- Individual must be a self-starter with a solid work ethic.
- Desire to work in a small business environment.
- Desire to work in a “Hands-On” environment.
- Valid driver’s license & a good driving record.
- Must have US work authorization.
- Credit check, criminal background check & drug testing required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required
- Advanced degree or professional certifications preferred
Physical Requirements : Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
