Responsibilities

Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a mid-level Structural Engineer to join our dynamic Structural Engineering team. The qualified candidate will have between 4-7 years of relevant experience working on the design of office buildings, healthcare facilities, sports venues, and other large commercial structures with construction costs of $25 million and up.

The candidate should possess a high energy level, be self-motivated, and able to work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity, and assertiveness in meeting client and project needs are advantages. Clients include architects, developers, institutions, and contractors. A strong customer service attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in relevant commercial building design.
• Demonstrated career growth with experience on design teams for various building types.
• Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Structural.
• California P.E. required; S.E. a plus.
• Proactive, organized, excellent communication skills, and client-oriented.

Pay Range: $100K - $119K in LA. Actual salary depends on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
