Sr. Software Engineer (Embedded)In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and testing of embedded control software to be used within Kearfott's next generation of guidance and navigation products. This includes participation in requirements definition, software design and implementation, peer review, software test and validation, and generation of supporting documentation.Minimum required skills/qualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical EngineeringStrong development skills with C/C++ programming languages4+ years of embedded or control systems programmingExperience with debugging strategies for embedded systems including emulators and logic analyzersAbility to collaborate with a team of engineers and support staff in a laboratory setting.Strong engineering writing and documentation skills.Must be a US CitizenPreferred QualificationsExperience with additional programming languages such as Python.
Ada knowledge a plusReal time application design experienceModel based software development using tools such as SCADE, Simulink, MATLAB.Familiarity with microcontrollers and digital signal processorsAbility to interpret electronics schematicsExperience with inertial navigation conceptsExperience with DO-178C software certification processAll work to be performed on site in our Pine Brook, NJ facilities.In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is $123,000 - $138,000 Annually.
