Job TitleYour role at GEI. Essential Responsibilities & Duties:Manage the technical aspects for site civil, geotechnical, or water resources engineering projects including tasks such as permitting, design, contract document preparation, construction engineering, and construction quality assurance for the any of the following client sectors: Mining, Solid Waste, Power Generation, Industrial, Manufacturing, Municipal, or TransportationPrepare technical scopes of work for proposals and projects, project budgets, requests for proposals for contractors, and technical reportsLead proposal teams and presentations. Develop and Maintain Client/Account RelationshipsLead and participate on multi-disciplinary, multi-geographic project teamsMaintain high visibility in the marketplace through regular client contact, participation in client-based professional organizations, and attendance and presentations at industry eventsManage projects and mentor staff which includes providing technical leadership, oversight, and risk management.Assist in recruiting and training additional staffSome overnight travel may be requiredMinimum Qualifications:B.S.
degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
