Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Project Engineer or Project Manager on various projects.
- Provide technical leadership across diverse project scopes.
- Ensure compliance with Building/Energy Codes and LEED standards.
- Develop mechanical system designs considering value add, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Conduct energy modeling, system sizing, load calculations, and design layouts.
- Prepare project start-up documentation and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Ensure adherence to contract in project milestones and deliverables.
- Manage project dependencies and conduct internal kick-off meetings.
- Prepare life cycle cost analysis studies and conduct design option analyses.
- Maintain positive client relationships, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 -8 years of relevant experience in the design field.
- Exceptional management and supervisory skills.
- Highly knowledgeable of codes, standards, and construction/engineering processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple project deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Revit, and other engineering analysis and compliance software tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) Certification, preferred.
- LEED Accreditation.
