Senior Engineer – HVACR Technology
Goal: Execute Cost Reduction projects, Sustaining initiatives, and New Product Development while focusing on speed, quality, and effective coordination with timely communication. This role requires strong mechanical and thermal fundamentals to support product design, validation, and electro‑mechanical integration.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support projects related to commercial scroll products, focusing on post‑launch engineering activities.
- Communicate technical details, project milestones and updates to internal/external customers and global cross‑functional colleagues.
- Collaborate with R&D, Design, Advanced Manufacturing, Marketing, Procurement, etc., to advance new product development efforts.
- Coordinate prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
- Identify risks and execute development and testing plans to mitigate risks.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to advance new product development.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, quality requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
- Understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer.
- Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship building skills.
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, including internship, new product development, quality, sustainability, lifecycle, product support.
- HVAC or related industry experience.
