Senior Engineer – Principal, Generation Regulated Renewables, Performance Engineering

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support for operating utility-scale wind facilities
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve equipment reliability and performance issues
• Analyze SCADA data, event logs, inspection findings, and operational trends
• Support resolution of routine and moderately complex operational issues
• Collaborate with field personnel, Asset Management, OEMs, and contractors to resolve equipment issues
• Support operational safety reviews and contribute engineering perspective to incident investigations
• Develop and improve monitoring tools, dashboards, and analytics
• Support pilot projects evaluating new tools and performance improvement opportunities
• Assist with power performance testing evaluations

Requirements

• Has typically acquired 6 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico is encouraged and preferred
