Senior Engineer
Experience in Big Data platforms and software like MapR, Horton Works. Experience designing and developing cloud based Big Data solutions with AWS would be an added advantage. AWS solutions experience including S3, EMR and frameworks such as MAPR/Hortonworks/Cloudera is preferred. Develops, documents and implements best practices for Big Data solutions. Solid understanding of ETL architectures, database partitioning, optimization, and building communication channels between structured and unstructured database. Good collaboration & communication skills, the ability to participate in an interdisciplinary team. Prior experience with performance tuning, capacity planning, and workload mapping is a plus. Shortly: Big Data experience in MapR, Horton Works + AWS is the ideal candidate. But candidates with strong Big Data platform knowledge (MapR, Horton Works) only also would be given consideration.
