Strivector's premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position.POSITION OVERVIEWAs a Senior Engineer, Capital Projects your roles and responsibilities will include:Lead mid-to-large capital projects: scope, schedule, budget, safety, and cost managementOversee construction, commissioning, and startup plansPerform process engineering and equipment procurementTroubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processesMentor junior engineersWork independently with minimal supervisionQUALIFICATIONSMost importantly, you need to be a passionate Senior Engineer, Capital Projects who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization.

The ideal Senior Engineer, Capital Projects would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Ag/Biosystems, or related)4+ years of relevant engineering experience (preferably 8+ years)Proven capital project execution experience (design to startup)Previous chemical, food, or related industry backgroundWilling to travel up to 20% domesticallyHands-on approach in a fast-paced plant environmentNice-to-HaveExperience with large capital projects or portfoliosStrong problem-solving in manufacturing equipment and systemsIndustry-specific know-how in food and bioindustrial processesCompensation: Based on Experience.
