Java, Springboot, microservices Developer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Core
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate or Spring Data
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols
- Experience working with databases such as:
- Relational: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server
- NoSQL (good to have): Cosmos, elastic search
- Good understanding of SQL queries, joins, indexes, and transactions
- Familiarity with Maven/Cradle
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and data structures
Good To Have / Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microservices architecture
- Experience with Kafka
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Unit testing with JUnit, Mockito
- Agile/Scrum development experience
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Build and expose RESTful APIs ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
- Develop microservices leveraging Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical solutioning for complex business requirements.
- Implement API integration with internal and external systems using REST/SOAP services.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Ensure application quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
- Implement security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.
- Work with messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ for event-driven architectures.
- Deploy and manage applications in Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Troubleshoot production issu es, perform root cause analysis, and implement performance improvements.
- Monitor application health using logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide support during release and deployment activities.
