Senior Engineer will manage the delivery pipeline of software engineering solutions across a portfolio, driving implementation of best engineering practices including design review, continuous integration, and test‑driven development.
The Role
- Collaborate with various teams to define requirements, interfaces, and implementation approaches.
- Develop scalable and reusable solutions, review code, and run full suites of tests.
- Run paired programming sessions with customers and team to train on solution functionality.
- Assemble and present technology delivery pitches to senior technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Work closely with client engagement partners to improve client relationships and support pre‑sales and solutions teams on business development.
- Telecommuting is available with manager approval within the Austin, TX metropolitan statistical area.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 4 years of experience delivering software solutions.
- Experience must include:
- 4 years of experience with application requirements analysis, design, and development using cloud platform, web development with Angular JS, Node JS, React, and Typescript, back‑end development, open‑source technologies, Agile tools, and Git.
- At least two relational databases: MySQL, Oracle, or Postgres.
- At least two NoSQL technologies: Cassandra, Couchbase, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
- 3 years of experience with MVC and ORM for N‑tier architecture.
Job Location: Austin, TX
Rate of Pay: $140,000–$187,000 per year
