Duties

Design, develop and maintain scalable and efficient AI/ML systems that solve complex problems. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product managers, UX designers, and software engineers—to gather requirements and design solutions. Lead the end‑to‑end AI/ML pipelines, including data preprocessing, model training, prompt engineering, and performance evaluation. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning. Optimize model performance and ensure robustness, fairness, and explainability. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions. Implement data security and privacy measures. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to data infrastructure, tools, and processes. Stay current with emerging AI/ML trends and technologies. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in AI/ML development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics or a closely related discipline (foreign education equivalency accepted).
  • Three (3) years of experience deploying AI/ML solutions to meet business needs.
  • Proven expertise building modern AI software architectures with microservices, serverless functions, and fault‑tolerant distributed systems on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Strong grasp of agile development, SOLID principles, design patterns, version control, code review, debugging, documentation, linting, unit/integration testing, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Proficiency with Python and complementary languages including JavaScript and C/C++.
  • Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, PyTorch, scikit‑learn, and XGBoost for training, evaluating, and optimizing generative AI and predictive ML models.
  • Skilled in SQL, NoSQL, and vector database systems like PostgreSQL and pgvector for optimized storage of RAG applications.
  • Ability to build containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
