Senior Energy Contract ManagerProSidian Consulting is looking for a Senior Energy Contract Manager in CONUS/OCONUS - Washington, DC to support an engagement for an independent agency of the United States Federal Govt. that is concerned with the United States' policies regarding energy and safety in handling nuclear material. The agency has a mission to lead national efforts to modernize the electric grid; enhance security and reliability of the energy infrastructure; and facilitate recovery from disruptions to energy supply.The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide financial, technical, analytical, modeling, project management, and communications support to meet on-going requirements within the agency. Key workstream coverage for the ProSidian Engagement Team includes but not limited to budget and financial systems support, human capital technical support, CBO financial reporting, advanced grid research and development technical and analytical support, and transmission permitting and technical assistance.Senior Energy Contract Manager Candidates shall work to support requirements for program support and primary role is to manage all tasks under the Performance Work Statement, which could include establishing budgets, administrative support or managing meetings, workshops, and training for the agency.Responsibilities include supervising, mentoring and providing guidance to all of the contractors under this Performance Work Statement, ensuring the successful and timely delivery of all assignments under the PWS, performing day-to-day operation of contract support operation, providing technical guidance to the project team or project teams, being responsible for overall contractor direction and control of each project and task assigned under the PWS, planning, executing, monitoring, and completing work in accordance with the quality standards and requirements specified for all projects and tasks, establishing and adhering to all contractor budget and spending controls to meet all contractual deliverables, milestones and scheduled due dates, administering and implementing quality and performance standards to ensure services, work products, and deliverables meet or exceed the government's performance measures and expectations.The Senior Energy Contract Manager shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.The position shall have a bachelor's degree with five years of supervisory experience and a minimum of three years program and project management experience. The Senior Energy Contract Manager is a managerial position requiring government consulting experience overseeing financial, information technology (IT), policy, analytical and technical personnel.

Experience in energy delivery, analytics, electrical systems and infrastructure programs preferred.May be required to obtain a current Top Secret (TS)/DOE "Q" or TS/Q Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.TRAVEL: Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
