Senior Employment Attorney

Schedule: Hybrid (approximately 3 days per week in the office)

Guaranteed $50,000 bonus at 1,600 billable hours

Additional discretionary bonus for hours above 1,600

Profit sharing on collections from your own clients

We're looking for an experienced employment attorney to help lead and grow our Employment Practice. This is an opportunity to work with founders, venture-backed companies, investors, and executives on sophisticated employment matters while playing a key role in expanding the practice.

What You'll Do

• Advise clients on a wide range of employment and labor law issues, with a focus on New York law.
• Counsel C-suite executives and companies on executive employment, separation negotiations, equity compensation, restrictive covenants, and non-compete matters.
• Support the firm's venture capital and emerging companies practice on employment-related issues.
• Draft and negotiate employment agreements, offer letters, separation agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, and other employment documents.
• Handle employment litigation in state and federal court, as well as agency proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Help build the practice by developing client relationships and contributing to business development.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of employment law experience.
• Admitted to the New York Bar and in good standing.
• Strong experience advising employers and senior executives on complex employment matters.
• Excellent drafting, litigation, and client counseling skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Experience working with venture-backed or high-growth companies is a plus.
• A stable career history and the ability to work from the office approximately three days per week.
