Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance required

Join a growing defense technology team developing high-assurance encryption, network, and tactical cybersecurity products supporting national defense and warfighters.

What You’ll Do

• Develop embedded real-time software using C/C++ and Python .
• Translate requirements into reliable, maintainable software solutions.
• Support the full SDLC: requirements, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
• Develop and execute software test plans and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Work closely with hardware and systems engineering teams.
• Participate in peer reviews and defect resolution.
• Serve as a technical resource for embedded software development teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years developing applications on simulated and target hardware.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with an RTOS such as Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, or similar.
• Strong embedded software development background.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work 100% onsite in Camden, NJ on a 9/80 schedule.

Preferred

Experience with Modern C++, device drivers, BSPs, UML/Rhapsody/Cameo, cryptography/information assurance, NSA Type 1 certification, or DO-178 .
