Senior Electrical Superintendent
The primary responsibility of the Senior Electrical Superintendent is for the overall management of assigned ColonialWebb projects. This role includes the day‑to‑day management of site teams, ensuring compliance with contractual documents and company budget objectives, and maintaining safety and well‑being of teammates. The Senior Electrical Superintendent will perform essential duties for multiple and large‑scale projects.

A Day in the Life
- Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned trade/craft workers
- Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules
- Study schedules and estimate worker‑hour requirements for successful project completion
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed
- Review and release ColonialWebb Shop Drawings and Spool Drawings for timely field installation
- Inspect work in process and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications
- Teach, coach and guide teammates to work safely and productively
- Perform trade‑specific duties as needed with the ability to direct work of other trades
- Ensure appropriate teammates are participating in predictive reporting; audit 5 x 5s and pre‑task plans for compliance; hold teammates accountable
- Monitor and control manpower and tools to ensure efficient use of resources and oversee inventory activities
- Schedule material and equipment deliveries to maintain project schedule
- Attend meetings as required for the project
- Complete daily reports, upload photos and provide necessary documents
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of industry experience, including supervisory experience
- Extensive experience handling personnel issues
- Excellent electrical, administrative and analytical skills
- OSHA 30‑hour certification and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
- Ability to obtain or possess Competent Person certification
- Ability to read and understand project documents in English
- Ability to handle day‑to‑day tasks relating to work assignments and asset management
- Proficiency with current technology (computer, tablet, smartphone, Microsoft Teams, Procore, BIM)
- Demonstrated foresight and problem‑solving skills for sound business decisions
- Ability to work within precise accuracy standards, make strategic decisions based on measurable criteria and comprehend technical data
Schedule
Full‑time, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand. Unscheduled overtime may be required, as necessary.
Travel
Occasional travel to off‑site meetings, regional offices, and jobsites, mostly during the workday (rare overnight travel). Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel safely throughout the region.
