You'll support the team in pushing the boundary of what is possible in a geo-synchronous spacecraft design and enable performance in space that has not been realized to date. You'll ensure that Design for Reliability is at the forefront of our engineering processes.RoleCollaborate with a broad and multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure that our spacecraft will operate reliably over their entire mission durationPerform reliability and availability analysis using Reliability Block Diagrams and DFMEAAdvise engineers on optimal redundancy architectureSupport the engineering and production teams with design reviews, failure analysis and root cause analysisPlan and manage EEE component tests, defining reliability targets, sample sizes, and stress conditions for internal or external test labsRequirementsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or a related engineering field5+ years of experience as a reliability or electrical engineer4+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: physics of failure, design for reliability, functional safety, or accelerated testingExperience in electrical design, including components, circuits, PCBs, or electronic assembliesExperience in reliability statistics and data analysisStrong analytical skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBonusExperience performing failure analysis and destructive physical analysis investigations to provide corrective actions and paths to closureFamiliarity with manufacturing processes and testing methodologies for electronic componentsKnowledge of accelerated test profiles for component-level screening and qualification testingWhat we offer: All our positions offer a compensation package that includes equity and robust benefits.
