We are working with an emerging spacecraft company seeking an Electrical / Magnetics Engineer to support advanced satellite programs focused on high-reliability mission performance and magnetic cleanliness. This is a highly hands‑on role spanning electrical integration, avionics testing, EMI/EMC planning, and magnetic control system development.
Responsibilities
- Lead magnetic cleanliness and magnetic control planning for spacecraft systems.
- Support EMI/EMC analysis, environmental testing, and grounding strategies.
- Design and integrate electrical subsystems, PCBs, and harnessing.
- Develop avionics testbeds and flatsat emulators.
- Perform spacecraft electrical integration and troubleshooting.
- Support subsystem testing and verification activities.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary spacecraft engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience in aerospace or spacecraft systems.
- Strong background in magnetics, EMI/EMC, and spacecraft avionics.
- Experience with PCB debugging, oscilloscopes, and electrical test equipment.
- Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.
- Hands‑on spacecraft hardware integration experience preferred.
- Familiarity with NASA GEVS standards.
