Senior Electrical Estimator

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in electrical estimating, including quantity take-offs, bid preparation, and proposal development.

• Experience in cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis for electrical construction projects.

• Background in electrical contracting operations, with understanding of field practices and project delivery methods.

• Solid knowledge of electricity principles and electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and controls.

• Education or training in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proficiency with estimating software and standard office applications (e.g., Excel, PDF markup tools, project management platforms).

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., NEC and local regulations).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across project teams and with external partners.

• Previous experience in a senior or lead estimating role within the electrical construction industry is highly beneficial.
