We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team and support the delivery of large-scale mission critical and data center projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an estimator with a strong electrical contracting background who understands the complexity, accuracy, and pace required within high-performance environments.
The successful candidate will have proven experience working for an electrical contractor and a strong track record estimating complex electrical packages from pre-construction through to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical estimates for large-scale mission critical, data center, and commercial projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate cost estimates
- Complete digital/on-screen take offs and quantity measurements
- Build estimates, proposals, and bid submissions within required timelines
- Collaborate with project teams, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Identify cost risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
- Support occasional site visits to review project requirements and validate scope
Required Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator working for an electrical contractor
- Strong background estimating large mission critical and data center projects
- Experience using estimating software including:
- Accubid Anywhere/ Classic
- Bluebeam
- Proven experience completing on-screen take offs
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction drawings, and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
