Lead Electrical EngineerLead the design and optimization of electrical systems supporting critical infrastructure projects, including gas processing & storage facilities, compressor stations, pipelines, and generation equipment. This is a high-impact role where you will drive growth, operational improvements, and system safety across complex industrial environments - Reviewing power and electrical systems, supporting new projects and upgrades, while providing overall electrical guidance on capital projects from concept through execution and commissioning. A successful candidate will have:Strong problem-solving skills and technical leadershipCommitment to safety and regulatory complianceAbility to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced project environmentsA collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering reliable, scalable power infrastructure solutionsKey responsibilities include:Collaborate in the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical power distribution systems supporting pipelines, compressor stations, storage facilities, and power generation assetsSupport both new construction and upgrades to existing facilitiesIntegrate advanced technologies including protection relaying schemes and data acquisition systems to enhance operational safety and reliabilityImplement safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systemsReview and apply electrical schematics, system layouts, protection coordination, and utility interconnection requirementsEnsure compliance with NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, and other applicable standardsSupport projects from concept through completion, aligning with schedule, budget, and business objectivesCollaborate with cross-functional engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teamsMentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence and safety cultureSupport Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC project phases as applicableRequired qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering - Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred8+ years of experience in natural gas, power generation, data centers, or related industrial infrastructureStrong understanding of power distribution systems, substations, and generation systems and assetsExperience reviewing arc flash studies and implementing mitigation strategiesExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation toolsExperience with PLCs, instrumentation and HMI systems and control system integrationUnderstanding of systems studies utilizing ETAP or SKM softwareProject management experienceExperience in Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC project environments
