Senior Electrical Engineer - SubstationWe are seeking a full-time electrical engineer to join a client's team of substation engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of substation design, protection and control, and electrical engineering.
Experience working in a substation environment is essential.The primary responsibility of this position is to design, install, and maintain substations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:Designing substation layouts and electrical systemsInstalling and testing substation equipmentMaintaining substation equipmentTroubleshooting substation problemsWorking with other engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of the substationThe ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering7+ years of experience working in a substation environmentStrong understanding of substation design, protection and control, and electrical engineeringExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional Engineer (PE) License preferred
